Proficy ShopFloor SPC Data Collection
Proficy ShopFloor SPC Data Collection utilizes keyboard, barcode or direct gage entry of data and provides operators clear and immediate process feedback. Color-coded readings make critical information pop-out: red indicates out-of-spec, yellow is a warning, and green is good. Operators use an input grid exactly like they do when collecting data manually. If a mistake is made, they can go back to the reading and make a change.
Attribute data collection is included with the Proficy ShopFloor SPC Data Collection module. This enables you to track multiple categories of defects (visual, functional, etc.) mixing variable and attribute data in the same part file. This software module gives you the ability to display data in Pareto charts, P, C, NP, and U-charts.

Proficy ShopFloor SPC Admin
Proficy ShopFloor SPC Admin is a bundled group of software modules and utilities that would be used to administer the data collection system. The Admin bundle gives you the ability to manage the database, create data collection routines and generate reports and queries on the collected data. Included in the Admin bundle are the following modules&
- Proficy ShopFloor SPC Analyst offers simple,
 flexible analysis of data and information collected on the product, process, and equipment. Data can be sorted and filtered by Key Process Variables to provide detailed information on process performance and cost. The ability to customize reports based on any traceable variant such as lot number or work order number lets you put the information in the most useful form for building reports for internal use, or to meet customer reporting requirements.
- Proficy ShopFloor SPC Reports, a collection of standard summary reports, gives you the big picture, with easily interpreted information about trends across your entire SPC program.
- Proficy ShopFloor SPC Designer lets you quickly create the data collection screens and printed reports used by Proficy ShopFloor SPC Data Collection and Proficy ShopFloor SPC Analyst to look exactly the way you want them to. This module gives you the ability to make a data collection part file as simple or as complex as you want. You are also able to incorporate digitized photos, CAD files, inspection/instruction sheets, or any Windows based document into the data collection part files.
- Proficy ShopFloor SPC Wizard creates setups automatically: enter a few facts and you're done. When used with Proficy ShopFloor SPC Designer, a part file that takes10 to 15 minutes to create and customize will now take only close to a minute to duplicate with Proficy ShopFloor SPC Wizard and its templates.
- Proficy ShopFloor SPC Importer allows you to design and run Importer definitions that can be used to capture data that is originated from a computer driven measuring system, such as a CMM or vision system. Importer can then send the data directly into the database, or directly into Proficy ShopFloor SPC Data Collection for real time analysis.

This software module lets you easily monitor what is happening on the production floor from a PC anywhere in the plant over the network. You can monitor all processes and immediately spot improvement or trouble. You can also choose a specific part or characteristic and launch Proficy ShopFloor SPC Analyst to get a more specific view of the data. |
